About this ebook

What's special about Lakshmi Chalisa + Aarti?

इस पुस्तक में क्या खास है

Many homes sing the Lakshmi Chalisa and “Om Jai Lakshmi Mata” on Fridays, on Diwali night and in the daily evening aarti. This book gives you both in the mool path, with a simple Hindi arth and an English meaning for every line.

DevGranth wrote the meaning itself. It shows Maa Lakshmi as our tradition sees her: the devi of auspiciousness, gentleness, hard work and the dignity of the home. At the end is a simple paath and aarti vidhi — when to do it, how to set the diya and asan, and the usual way of paath on Fridays and Diwali.
