Diwali Lakshmi Puja Vidhi — Full Puja at Home

Diwali evening is the busiest time, and the most confusing: how to set the chowki, whose puja comes first, where the kalash goes, which mantra to say. This book writes the full Ganesh-Lakshmi puja in a simple order, so your family can do the puja with vidhi even if pandit ji cannot come.

It starts with a samagri list to use a few days before, then the chowki, Ganesh-Lakshmi pujan, kalash pujan, deepdan and aarti. For business families, the bahi-khata, pen and inkpot pujan is given separately. Muhurat terms like pradosh kaal and sthir lagna are explained simply — check each year’s exact time in your local panchang.
